[Z] DecoTec® 5450 TopCoat COLOR 2in1

Product description:

Water-based, opaque weatherproof paint

Properties:

  • Highly durable weather protection
  • Block-resistant
  • Used in brush and roller applications as a two-coat coating or in spray applications as a one-layer coating.
  • Intercoat and topcoat in one product

Applications:

  • Suitable for non-dimensionally stable interior and exterior wooden components with no contact with the ground: e.g., car ports, soffits, wooden ceilings, log cabins and sheds, façades, folding shutters, fences. Not suitable for garden furniture, surfaces, e.g., Terrace decking.
  • Types of wood containing constituents or a high resin content, and knots may cause discolouration depending on the colour used. Knots may impact on the ability of the coating to adhere. Substrates containing constituents or a high resin content can impact on the absorption of water-based paints and glazes. Resin spots are not coating faults.

Colour:

  • RAL colours and special colours based on [Z] DecoTec® 5450 Basis A, B and C. Integrated into the ZOBEL colour mixing system.
  • The colour may be influenced by the quality, moisture and processing conditions of the wood.

Standard layer build-up:

  • 1 x [Z] ZowoTec® 118 Impregnation ProtectX
  • 1 x [Z] ZowoTec® 260 Primer White
  • 1 bis 2 x [Z] DecoTec® 5450 TopCoat COLOR 2in1 (depending on the type of application)
