Product description:

Water-based, glazing protective primer

Properties:

  • With biocidal properties in accordance with EN 113 and EN 152.1 to protect against blue stain and wood-destroying fungi
  • Quick-drying

Applications:

  • For dimensionally stable interior and exterior wooden components (e.g., windows and front doors).
  • [Z] ZowoTec® 203 provides preventive protection against wood-destroying fungi and blue stain for exterior wooden components not exposed to static stress, and with no contact with the ground.
  • A prerequisite for the long-term protective effect is an intact layer build-up. The components must therefore be checked regularly and any damage repaired as quickly as possible.

Colour:

  • Colour-Line Nature, Colour-Line Classic and special colours based on [Z] ZowoTec® 203 Basis GL. Integrated into the Berger-Zobel colour mixing system.
  • The colour of the layer build-up is created by the interplay between the colour of the primer, intercoat and topcoat.
  • The colour may be influenced by the type, quality and moisture of the wood, and also by the processing conditions.
  • The colour and its intensity is influenced by the application method, e.g. brush or spray, and the respective thickness of the coats.
  • Even if the colour designations are the same, colour variations may occur with the other Berger-Zobel products. The difference is influenced by the binder, coat thickness, application method and the primer used.
