[Z] ZowoTec® 421 TopCoat UVPlusX

Product description:

Water-based, highly transparent, UV-resistant thick glaze

Properties:

High level of UV protection
Protection of the non-pigmented film and the substrate with special UVA absorbers and radical scavengers
Enables the colourless glaze to be classified in the category “medium colours”*.
Early block-resistant
Highly weatherproof
Intercoat and topcoat in one product
Highly transparent and UV-resistant surface quality

Applications:

For dimensionally stable wooden components (e.g., windows and front doors) in exterior areas combined with a colouring primer. Also available as a totally colourless build-up for interior use (wood/aluminium constructions).

Colour:

Colourless, particularly for interior wood/aluminium build-ups
The colours white spruce (for spruce wood only), white larch (for larch wood only)
The colour collection Colour-Line Nature ([Z] ZowoTec® 421 is particularly recommended here for maple and pine colours)
Colour-Line Classic [Z] ZowoTec® 421 is particularly recommended here for colours with minimal pigmentation)
Special colours starting from [Z] ZowoTec® 421 Basis EL
When ordering ‘colourless’ the form of supply form is Basis EL
Metallic colours can be created by adding [Z] ZowoSmart® EffectPigment Silver. For additional quantities, please refer to the relevant Technical Data Sheet.
The colour of the layer build-up is created by the interplay between the colour of the primer, intercoat and topcoat.
When applied as a colourless topcoat for exterior use, [Z] ZowoTec® 421 must be used in the build-up combined with a colouring primer.
The colour may be influenced by the type, quality and moisture of the wood, and also by the processing conditions.
